Easy, Tinkerbell Inspired Costumes

Tinkerbell Half Marathon is quickly approaching (this weekend!) and maybe you were so moved by my post yesterday on running costumes you want to try one yourself! Or maybe life got in the way and you forgot the race was this close and now need something to wear. No worries! I've got you covered with TWO easy looks to help you fly to the finish line.

Look 1: Tinkerbell

The pixie herself which the weekend is named after. Super easy, super fast and super fun.  Just grab a green tank, green sparkle athletic skirt and wings. Cap it off with some shoe poms and you are ready to fly!

Look 2: Tiger Lilly

One of the other heroines in Peter Pan, the Indian Princess who is feisty and brave, a little bit more time consuming costume but still easy and one of my favorites.

Step 1: Pick out a brown tank top

Step 2: Purchase some fringe from your local craft store such as Hancock Fabric.

Step 3: Attach fringe (two strips) from sleeve strap to elbow or wrist. Also, decorate tank with V-shape. Can also add decorative ribbon/fabric orange fabric around neckline.

Step 4: Add brown Sparkle Athletic skirt found here .

Step 5: Tie turquoise ribbon or sparkly head band (just place around head) and add feather.

Step 6: Tiger Lilly ready!

Good luck pixies!

Be sure to post your pictures from Tinkerbell Half, just link them to your comment! I can't wait to see all the fun ones this weekend and get ideas for the future!
